Richard “Crazy Legs” Colón of PRS Fest and The Rock Steady Crew, along with The Elisha Project, UP NYC, and Unidos Productions form partnership to provide essential support to families in The Bronx on Friday, December 22, 2023. The distribution of goods will be from 8AM – 10:30 AM.
Crazy Legs, renowned B-Boy and founder of PRS Fest and The Rock Steady Crew, is joining forces with The Elisha Project, UP NYC, and Unidos Productions to make a positive impact in the community. Together, they are proud to announce a partnership dedicated to providing essential items such as toiletries, home cleaning products and basic furniture to identified families in The Bronx, ensuring a comfortable and hygienic living environment for those in need.
On Friday, December 22, 2023, this collaborative effort will bring much-needed support to families facing economic challenges, alleviating some of the burdens faced by these families during the holiday season.
The Elisha Project, a national non-profit founded by George L. Ortiz, Jr., a New York native committed to serving communities in need, aims to create positive change and improve the lives of individuals and families facing challenges. The organization will supply essential items and furniture, as well as contribute its resources and expertise to ensure the success of the initiative.
Unidos Productions is a community empowerment organization dedicated to fostering unity, creativity and social change. Through various initiatives and events, they aim to inspire individuals and strengthen communities. Unidos will provide logistical support to amplify the impact of the partnership.
UP NYC, co-owned by rapper and entrepreneur Fat Joe, is a retail organization committed to uplifting and empowering communities. It provides resources and opportunities for individuals to succeed and thrive. Its Bronx retail store, located at 2490 Third Avenue, will serve as the initiative’s central distribution location.
Crazy Legs, a Bronx native, has long been an advocate for social change and community development. Through his work with PRS Fest and The Rock Steady Crew, he has consistently championed the power of dance and art to inspire and uplift individuals. This partnership reflects his ongoing commitment to making a difference in the lives of those in need.
